Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.86% or 480.0 points to trade at 26260.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.33% or 320.0 points to end at 24360.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.11% or 200.0 points to 18240.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 2.80% or 110.0 points to trade at 3825.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.07% or 0.2 points to end at 18.5 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was down 0.65% or 180.0 points to 27520.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 11 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 2.14% or 3.00 to $142.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.92% or 29.00 to hit $3181.50 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.78% or 9.85 to trade at $1260.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 3.97% to 2895.00, while BRL/COP rose 5.04% to 865.88.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.49% at 93.35.
