Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 2.84% or 0.5 points to trade at 18.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 2.48% or 280.0 points to end at 11580.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.57% or 400.0 points to 25900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which fell 2.42% or 30.0 points to trade at 1210.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.26% or 30.0 points to end at 2350.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 0.95% or 360.0 points to 37460.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.11% or 1.62 to $147.85 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.57% or 16.00 to hit $2779.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.34% or 4.30 to trade at $1257.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.73% to 2926.93, while BRL/COP rose 1.08% to 910.09.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 96.53.
