Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 2.00% or 220.0 points to trade at 11200.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.60% or 150.0 points to end at 9510.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.11% or 30.0 points to 2730.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which fell 1.22% or 15.0 points to trade at 1215.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 1.20% or 180.0 points to end at 14780.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was down 0.67% or 180.0 points to 26700.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 10 and 10 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.09% or 1.83 to $169.93 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.30% or 7.50 to hit $2479.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1273.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.86% to 2952.00, while BRL/COP fell 2.27% to 917.94.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 98.44.
