Apollo economist warns: AI bubble now bigger than 1990s tech mania
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.45% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO), which rose 1.31% or 420.00 points to trade at 32,380.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) added 0.94% or 180.00 points to end at 19,400.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 0.71% or 500.00 points to 70,500.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB), which fell 2.09% or 220.00 points to trade at 10,300.00 at the close. Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) declined 1.45% or 240.00 points to end at 16,340.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was down 1.25% or 90.00 points to 7,130.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 4.21% or 13.75 to $312.80 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.05% or 260.50 to hit $8,794.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.67% or 56.55 to trade at $3,338.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.07% to 4,078.30, while BRL/COP rose 0.07% to 739.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 97.56.
