Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.15% or 290.0 points to trade at 9490.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 2.96% or 1000.0 points to end at 34800.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 2.53% or 360.0 points to 14580.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which fell 4.89% or 125.0 points to trade at 2430.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.43% or 120.0 points to end at 8260.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was down 1.25% or 10.0 points to 790.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 13 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.89% or 125.0 to 2430.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.28% or 1.50 to $115.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.10% or 73.50 to hit $2443.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 6.60 to trade at $1249.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.01% to 2946.38, while BRL/COP rose 0.56% to 763.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 95.03.
