Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which rose 6.34% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 21,800.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) added 2.55% or 100.00 points to end at 4,020.00 and Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) was up 1.97% or 2,440.00 points to 126,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which fell 1.43% or 25.00 points to trade at 1,725.00 at the close. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) declined 0.74% or 80.00 points to end at 10,720.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) was down 0.74% or 280.00 points to 37,680.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.34% or 1,300.00 to 21,800.00. Shares in Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.97% or 2,440.00 to 126,600.00.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.53% or 2.05 to $382.60 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.96% or 171.00 to hit $8,914.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 25.65 to trade at $3,247.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.48% to 4,252.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.80% to 751.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 99.85.
