Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 2.46% or 700.0 points to trade at 29160.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.95% or 85.0 points to end at 4450.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 1.76% or 20.0 points to 1155.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 1.37% or 120.0 points to trade at 8630.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.23% or 8.0 points to end at 640.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 1.05% or 30.0 points to 2815.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.95% or 85.0 to 4450.0.
US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.53% or 0.80 to $150.02 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 1.53% or 30.50 to hit $2027.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.39% or 17.15 to trade at $1250.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.79% to 2869.70, while BRL/COP fell 0.45% to 939.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 101.00.
