BREAKING:Trump Says Virus Will 'Go Away at Some Point'; Downplays Need of Vaccine

Investing.com - President Donald Trump reportedly said the U.S. will win the battle against the coronavirus pandemic even without an effective vaccine, and claimed that the disease will disappear "at some point." 

"We think we’re gonna have a vaccine in the pretty near future, and if we do we’re gonna really be a big step ahead,” Trump said at a Friday event detailing the U.S. effort to develop a vaccine, according to CNBC. "And if we don’t we’re gonna be like so many other cases where you had a problem come in, it’ll go away at some point, it’ll go away."

Trump's comments come in the wake of health experts warning that reopening the economy too soon could spark a second wave of infections.

Earlier this week, top U.S. infectious disease expert, Dr Anthony Fauci, warned "the consequences could be really serious" if restrictions are lifted too soon.

This is a different virus, and the world - and thus its ability to quickly spread around - is radically different than it was 100 years ago. Anyone who pays attention to what Trump says about *anything*, let alone science, is completely and utterly hopeless.

Ok this is like, Trump: "If the vaccine doesn´t show up, people (not me or the prevailing society) will have to struggle with the virus, some people will die but others will get immune to the virus (just like cockroaches) and then we prevail" (at the expense of many innocent lives that will sacrify themselves only to keep the economy moving). Are you, reader.......are you going to sacrify yourself so other people enjoy and emerge victorious, for Trump to be reelected at the expense of maybe thousands of deaths??????

The Trump campaign against masks has now reached  the time of all telling . Trump and his administration missed the importance of P.P.E. and personal masks  early ,which resulted  in the unnecessary spread of the virus . It has  forced  him into not only insisting that business opens up in some cases prematurely ,it has forced him to insist business opens up recklessly..Thankfully some Governors  see that masks are a solid partner in opening of business throughout the country. One gigantic mistake  continues to haunt America ,because the President and his staff will not admit they made a mistake. We can open if all is being done to make opening  as safe as possible. Instead we have a smear campaign  about of all things,..  "masks" .This is horrible representation of logic.The people that are behind this must be held accountable.

I'm short (betting against) on the stock market; with a market stop in-case the trade turns against me. If it does, I'll just go long. So, I watch what the stock market says by either moving up or down; people cast their vote with money. Whatever Trump says if the market moves up, it trusts him. Some big time faith to rally so much.
if corona had been that contagious, no hospital staff would have been safe today despite of all protective gears, it is very less contagious than expected.Second wave theory is also faulty, every human fights virus and every virus of individual person may have different culture in result of his immune system.though protection is better than cure, now we have to live with this virus too.
