U.S. Senate's Schumer says Trump impeachment trial will be fair but move quickly

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Sunday that former President Donald Trump's approaching second impeachment trial in the Senate will be fair but move at a relatively fast pace.

"It will be a fair trial but it will move relatively quickly," Schumer, a Democrat, told a news conference in New York. He said it should not take up too much time because "we have so much else to do."

The commentators keep talking about election fraud yet 32 different courts. including the Supreme court (twice) threw the cases out for lack and in many cases no evidence. Saying there was voter fraud doesn't mean voter fraud occurred. You uneducated trump supporters need to move on.

The Senate and House failed Americans by not requiring an investigation into Election Fraud. I did not think this until I read the 270 pages of Sidney Powell. The Most Important jobs that Congress have are -Uniform Election Reform-Removal of Section 230. Without FAIR ELECTIONS and FREEDOM of SPEECH; America is Doomed. Individual states already investigated. The recounts that were done used the paper ballots, so these false claims about Dominion have been completely debunked. There was no vote fixing. Sidney Powell is a crackpot (or maybe I should say "krakkenpot"). There is a reason that Giuliani's crazy team kicked her out.

Wolverex, sure. That's why more than 50 courts, many with Republican and even Trump-appointed judges, as well as the Supreme Court, threw out Trump's claims as meritless. And that's why even Republican states all certified their election results. That's why 3 recounts, including the original paper ballots, overseen by Republican leadership, still resulted in Biden winning, in Georgia. It's time detoxify from too much Trump Kool-aid and face reality.
you are being disingenuous or at best disinformed. The cases weren’t thrown oit as meritless. They were thrown out based on lack of standing or on laches. The merits of the case were never given a fair trial.
