WASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Joe Biden will call efforts to strip the right to vote from some Americans "authoritarian" in a speech on Tuesday, the White House said on Monday.

Biden "will lay out the moral case for why denying the right to vote is a form of suppression and a form of silencing," and discuss steps the administration plans to take to shore up voting rights, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said.

Biden's speech in Philadelphia will address the ongoing "onslaught of voter suppression laws based on a dangerous and discredited conspiracy theory that culminated in an assault on our capitol," she said.

Republican governors of Arizona, Florida and Iowa have signed new voting restrictions this year, while state legislatures in Pennsylvania and Texas are trying to advance similar measures that the Biden administration and Democrats say target minority voters.

Biden will also "decry efforts to strip the right to vote as authoritarian and anti-American," Psaki said, adding that the president plans to make the case for passing laws in Congress and building a voter education system to fight "the worst challenge to our democracy since the Civil War."

Ha... the only thing fake, illegal and authoritarian is his worthless administration
It does not strip anybody’s rights.
Biden couldn't call his own family... he forgot who they all are. Haha
The Godfather of the Biden family crime syndicate, His Fraudulency, The Marxist, Globalist, Totalitarian Chairman Xiden is going to say what?
"...a form of suppression and a form of silencing." You know, like banning someone from Facebook and Twitter.
Social media/MSM censorship is nothing more than a Marxist/socialist tactic. The same methods that other socialists like North Korea, China, Soviet Union, *****Germany (Hi.t.tler was a democratic socialist) use/used to support their Mother Party and punish dissidents.
they are triggered anowflakes lol look at that wall o’ text.
Martin, your point would have some merit if it was the government stepping in and censoring certain posts on social media, but it's not. And that's an important point that you don't seem to get. It's private companies who make their own terms of service that you agree to when you sign. And they warn you if you violate them, and then remove or flag your posts, or ban you if you continue to break their rules. That has absolutely nothing to do with Socialism or Marxism! lol. Furthermore there was no social media when Germany was run by the N@zzis, and they were Facists, not Socialists as you keep mistakenly claiming.
"President Joe Biden will call efforts to strip the right to vote from some Americans "authoritarian" in a speech on Tuesday, the White House said on Monday."...and just fyi this is a blatantly false statement. This is why approval of MSM is under 30%. No Americans would be stripped of their right to vote under these policies. MSM, please explain how a single person would lose their "right" to vote with these policies. Also, "dangerous and discredited conspiracy theory"...they have not even finished the audits. They are openly contesting the audits form being performed/completed. In order to disprove the "conspiracy theories" then let them complete the audits.  Democrats are worried, they lost 6 house seats and Biden's approval is plummeting...that is the reason for all of this. Trump's recent rallies had over 1 million viewers online even with YouTube banning him and MSM not airing his speeches, Biden cannot even get a few thousand to watch his speeches.

Over 70% of Americans agree that there should be ID required to vote. People see through the propaganda. The same people who say they want COVID passports, and that you need ID for things like getting guns and driving cars, but when it comes to voting - one of the most important things for having security - suddenly it is "racist" because black people cannot figure out how to get IDs? These people are hypocritical nuts, it is why Biden's approval is plummeting, and they know they can only win elections illegitimately.  They question the 2016 election for 4 years and requested multiple audits, then when Biden is in they say you cannot question the election and they try to prevent audits. Trump was ahead on election night, then they stop counting in 3 swing states, board up windows, and magically find just enough boxes of Biden votes to push him over. They find that the voting machines in places like AZ had remote access on the night of the election. They are tyrants.
