WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said on Thursday that President Donald Trump told him he would sign a bipartisan border security bill and at the same time declare a national emergency to make available additional funds for a wall along the southern border.

The money is in the Omnibus bill. Like his predessesor Obama who used the same exact funds to declare NE in ME.
Why would he sign bill, the only real leverage for getting wall built so its not political suicide. Dems would cave because they at great risk not saying yes to Shut down ending. More so than Trump, anyway.
Dems plus RINO Republicans are the problem. Many RINO'S are not backing up Trump.
