Las Vegas Aces forward Dearica Hamby earned her second consecutive WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year award on Sunday.

Hamby dominated voting, receiving 44 of 47 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. Los Angeles Sparks guard Riquna Williams (NYSE:WMB) (two votes) and Phoenix Mercury guard Bria Hartley (one) were the only others to receive votes.

Hamby, who exclusively played in reserve this season, averaged 13.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals. The scoring, assists and steals averages all were career highs for the sixth-year player.

The Aces hold the top seed in the WNBA playoffs and open play on Sunday against the Connecticut Sun in the best-of-five semifinals.

Hamby, 26, has averaged 8.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in 179 games since being selected sixth overall by the franchise, then known as the San Antonio Stars, in the 2015 WNBA Draft. Despite not starting a single game this season, Hamby averaged a career-high 28.3 minutes per game.

She will receive $5,150 and a trophy designed by jeweler Tiffany & Co.

Hamby is the third player to win the award in back-to-back seasons, joining Allie Quigley (2014-15) and DeWanna Bonner (three in a row from 2009-11).
