Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) said it is becoming more difficult for institutional investors to ignore the rise of cryptocurrencies.
“Whether or not you believe in the merit of investing in cryptocurrencies real dollars are at work here & warrant watching”.
The debate has shifted from the legitimacy of the ‘fiat of the Internet’ the firm said.
Goldman noted that ICOs have exceeded angel and seed funding during the past few months.
The report came as Bitcoin surged to fresh record highs above the $4,000 level.
