WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said on Sunday that the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden was evaluating a pause on federal gas tax as one of the options to bring down prices.

Unless government cuts spending by an equal amount this will just necessitate more money printing to support increased government debt. It’s just theatrics to fool their economic ignorant supporters.
the best option is to send everyone 16 and over a gas preloaded debit card that only works for gasoline. Then each month put $400 on it or whatever
If they cut gas tax they'll let inflation run higher someplace else. It's all about revenue. Cash starved deeply indebted state and fed governments get more sales tax on every item when it costs more to buy. If you look at the 70 year fed reserve debt charts, homicide charts, consumer debt and purchasing power charts you'll see they all start to rise right about the early mid 70's. And, that was right after the liberals recaptured the federal power they lost right after the great depression. The truth is, liberals think they're entitled to get rich through putting people they see as inferior in debt and at risk. In the USA, this is the 3rd time it's happened (mid 1800's, early 1900's, and early 70's), and they all resulted in really bad times for most people. All the issues liberals sell the public are smoke hiding the reality that is in plain sight.
Where are your facts refuting Todd Gray’s? You’ve merely provided your opinion and nothing else.
I wa assuming a minimum of the common knowledge obtained with a high school education, but if you insist on an example: Democrats did not loose federal power right after the great depression, as the know-nothing asserts; in fact, they retained it through the 12 years of the longest serving president, Democrat Franklin Delenoe Roosevelt. And another glaring error, the great depression was not in the 1970s, as the know-nothing asserts, it started in 1929. Got it?
Brad. Todd is right about one thing, for sure, Democrats NEED people to be poor and dependent. If everyone was successful, had $, and took personal responsibilty, Democrats, with their love of centralized government control of peoples lives would not be needed. This is why almost every Democrat initiative produces the exact oppositeof its stated intent.
What is there to mull? Just get it done, before it is $10/ gal
this saves like 15 cents. hardly noticable
For non English native speakers, those titles are very hard to understand.
are they used "mulling" any time before the Stock muln?
What?
Whatever mulling means, I am not so familiar with two consecutive ing forms, besides, I would have preferred: The energy secretary says his cabinet is mulling pausing the federal gas tax as an option to cut prices. Of course it's longer.
