  • MetaHistory: Museum of War will be holding an auction for its NFT holders.
  • The auction shall be from April 17 to 22, 2022.
  • It will feature 15 artworks.

MetaHistory: Museum of War, a collection of the recent Ukraine-Russia war NFTs, has announced that it will be launching an artwork auction from April 17 to 22, 2022. It will feature 15 artworks, four of which shall be the first NFTs from the MetaHistory Warline created by Ukrainian artists.

Meanwhile, the remaining 11 shall be provided by PROSPECT100–a global design competition with prominent judges that include Adrian Joffe, Daniel Arsham, André Saraiva, Stefan Sagmeister, Hiroshi Fujiwara, FuckJerry, and others. In this competition, the board of judges selected 100 artworks, where 25 of them have the highest rates with 1 absolute winner.

With a brewing partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the funds raised from the auction exclusive for NFT holders shall be used to recover the damaged historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine.

In other news, MetaHistory has rolled out new updates in its roadmap. For one, they are providing NFT merging to their first drop holders, and are launching MetaHistory DAO, AR/VR gallery.

MetaHistory: Museum of War is an NFT collection with an initiative to expand the cryptocurrency fundraising in Ukraine. It is composed of a series of digital images spanning from warplane silhouettes, news report screenshots, and a cartoon sketch of an explosion, each one representing a different day in the conflict.

In addition, Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov officially launched the NFT collection on March 25, 2022, in a tweet that reads:

While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech. @Meta_History_UA NFT-Museum is launched. The place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom. Check here: https://metahistory.gallery/warline.
