  • Play-to-earn game MonkeyBall raised a whopping $3 million in funding round.
  • The company will use the $3 million to complete launching the game.
  • MonkeyBall acquired the said amount of money from venture capital and angel investors.

After a successful fundraising event, Solana-based play-to-earn MonkeyBall announced that it has raised not less than $3 million from the majority of top venture capital and angel investors respectively. In fact, this represents a milestone achievement for MonkeyBall.

Of note, the company behind MonkeyBall aims to launch the gaming platform by using the $3 million investment made by the people. To mention a few, Solana Capital, Republic, NFX, iAngels, Longhash, CMS, Jump Capital, Youbi, and Morningstar Ventures made the investment.

Not only do these tech firms contribute to the funding event, but Banger Capital, Ascentive Assets, MarketAcross, Node Capital, ZBS Capital, Metaversal, Collider, BFF, and perhaps 6th Man Ventures also invested.

Moreover, on the side of the angel investors, Shalom Meckenzie, Livermore CEO Noam Lanir, IronSource CEO Tamir Carmi, Dafabet Co-founder, eToro’s Co-founder, and lots more other Co-founders took part in the MonkeyBall funding round. In terms of ranking, COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen is going to work as a chairman for MonkeyBall.

With much enthusiasm MonkeyBall’s Head of Marketing, Oren Langberg happily reacted,

“Truly excited to unveil this amazing roster of investors who are supporting MonkeyBall. Play-to-earn is an exciting and quickly growing application for blockchain and NFTs, but it’s not easy to find games with great production quality. The first play-to-earn game to truly become mainstream is still in the future, and we are hard at work to realize that future for MonkeyBall.”

Additionally, aside from Langberg’s comment, DraftKings (NASDAQ:DKNG) Co-founder Shalom Mckenzie also mentioned that play-to-earn games have become the game-changer specifically based on gamers’ interface and interaction with the digital world. “Play-to-earn is an exciting and quickly growing application for blockchain and NFTs, but it’s not easy to find games with great production quality.”

“As an early-stage investor in some of the most successful mobile/casual gaming start-ups in the world, we at NFX have been looking at the booming play-to-earn market for a while now.”

What is more, Levi even has an astounding belief that the sector will continue to grow in a more flourishing fashion than what the world is seeing now. With this, only the fast-paced winners will be the company’s that blend the best in blockchain with awesome game-design capabilities.

Briefly, MonkeyBall is a Solana-based play-to-earn and a fang-tastic turn-based soccer game. It is a kind of FIFA Street and Final Fantasy launched into a fun monkey-themed game. By playing MonkeyBall, players earn tokens in real-time by enjoying other people’s matches.
