Ethereum Climbs 11% As Investors Gain Confidence

Investing.com - Ethereum was trading at $1,277.43 by 10:48 (15:48 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Saturday, up 10.58% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since January 3.

The move upwards pushed Ethereum's market cap up to $144.46B, or 13.89% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum's market cap was $147.00B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $1,154.04 to $1,277.43 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a rise in value, as it gained 2.58%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $36.21B or 23.92% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $917.9643 to $1,347.9818 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 10.24% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $37,597.2 on the Investing.com Index, up 5.38% on the day.

Tether was trading at $1.0017 on the Investing.com Index, a gain of 0.26%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $699.12B or 67.20% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Tether's market cap totaled $24.32B or 2.34% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
