Day 3 of WEF: How Blockchain and Stablecoins Provided Aid to Ukraine

  • CEO of Blockchain solution providing firm Stellar will be speaking in two sessions today at WEF.
  • In the first session, CEO Denelle Dixon will address the advantages and challenges of Blockchain.
  • CEO Dixon will also discuss how payment through Stablecoins and Blockchain helped refugees under duress.

It is the third day of the World Economic Forum, and today, the forum will hold a discussion on how Blockchains and Stablecoins successfully provided aid to refugees in Ukraine. The discussion will cover various instances where cryptocurrencies have helped other populations under distress.

As per the statement, well-known Blockchain solution providing firm Stellar will be conducting two sessions today, which would focus on crypto and blockchain technology.

The session titled, Breaking Barriers with Blockchain: How do we drive responsible and sustainable innovation, will be held today 1:30 – 2:30 PM CET. The CEO & Executive Director of Stellar Development Foundation Denelle Dixon, will be among the speakers in this session along with Julien Courbe, Chief Client Officer and Global Advisory Managing Partner, PwC.
