CoinDeal to Sponsor Wolves Soccer Club

CoinDeal, a Cyprus-based cryptocurrency exchange, will become a sponsor of the UK Wolverhampton Wanderers soccer club, which will feature its logo on all training kits. According to the deal, the Wolves, as the team is known, will have CoinDeal’s logo on the sleeves of their shirts. The crypto exchange’s branding will be visible on LED advertising boards and the first team dugout at the club’s Molineux home ground.

“I was always very close to the world of sports, managing players,” says Kajetan Mackowiak, co-founder of CoinDeal.

“At CoinDeal, we are very aware of the impact that football marketing can have on brand and its community, especially in an industry such as ours. We believe that a club like Wolverhampton Wanderers in the game as prestigious as English Premier League will help carry our message globally.”

The Wolves, as the team is known, are two-times Football League Cup champions. Although the agreement with CoinDeal is the first cryptocurrency exchange sports sponsorship, it is not the first time crypto has ent ered the world of soccer. In January this year, Arsenal signed a deal with CashBet, promoting the ICO for the platform’s own currency.

“CoinDeal is a bold and progressive company, who we believe to be an ideal match to become one of our principal partners,” says the club in a press release on its website.

“Once more a partner has agreed to tweaking the color of their logo to complement our kit, which is a huge gesture of goodwill towards the club and its fans, and something we are very grateful for.”

According to coinmarketcap.com, CoinDeal handles daily trading volumes of over $1 million, of which ETH takes 35%. Other crypto currencies include BTC, LTC, BCH, DASH, LTC and FTO, as well as two fiat currencies – Euro and US Dollars.

The exchange was founded in March 2018 and stands out for its voting-based inclusion of new currencies. If a member desires a new cryptocurrency to be included as an option, they can submit a proposal to the platform. If enough members of the community vote for the proposal, the currency is added to CoinDeal.
