BWC Set To Be Biggest Crypto Event Ever: Big Ticket Price Too

According to the official website at bwcevent.com, the Blockchain conference will be hosted over 3 days in the Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey ; boasting over 120,000 sq ft of exhibit space including over 8000+ attendees, more than 120 exhibitors and well over 100 speakers. The event will also be live stream broadcasted to an anticipated global audience of a further 25,000 people.

“The primary focus and goal of the Blockchain World Conference (BWC) is to expand the reach and breadth of Blockchain technology in order to achieve long term growth and sustainable expansion of the industry we all love”

Wrapping up the event after 3 days of extensive blockchain networking and discussion will be none other than the King of crypto himself, John Mcafee. Over the course of his direct involvement in cryptocurrencies, he was become something of a celebrity spokesman in this space; widely regarded across the crypto community as having the ‘Mcafee effect’ due to his strong influence on the market, particularly when shilling coins on his twitter profile.

Alongside Mcafee there are countless other notable CEO’s, CTOs and crypto project MD’s delivering speeches and talks at this conference.

Ticket prices for this event however, has come under scrutiny as have many other blockchain conferences around the world, where the barrier for entry is set at such high a price tag that many crypto enthusiasts and professionals refuse to attend. Despite early bird discounts made available before June 15th and more attendees expected than any other exhibition, tickets for the event still range between $746 to well over $3,000.

Even Ethereum Co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, refused to participate in this year’s Consensus Blockchain conference partly due to the outrageous ticket prices,

While the event will no doubt be a spectacle of blockchain development as the largest expo of its kind, perhaps in the future we will start to see exhibitions more concerned with making these events accessible to everybody, rather than benefiting the select financial elites in this space, and turning massive ticket-sale profits.
