Breaking: Shiba Hits 1 Million Users — What’s Next For the Memecoin?

  • Shiba Inu records 1 million users.
  • The Shiba Army continues to grow day by day.
  • So now, what is next for Shuba Inu?

The phenomenal meme coin, Shiba Inu, continues to amaze the crypto world. After its consecutive achievements, Shiba Inu has yet again set another milestone. Reportedly, the SHIB users now count to 1 million users!

However, the path that Shiba Inu took hasn’t always been a smooth one.

In the earlier stages of Shiba Inu, its marketing strategy mostly focused on being Dogecoin’s (DOGE) rival. Here, Dogecoin founder, Bill Markus took to Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) to say that the Shiba Army was constantly harassing him.

The ‘dog fight’ intensified which somehow led the community’s attention to the rivalry between the two. According to reports, Shiba Inu wanted to compete with Dogecoin — given that it’s the first successful meme coin with its blockchain infrastructure. Even so, the community can’t seem to decide which one is better between the two.

Apart from this, earlier in 2021, Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin dumped SHIB and donated the funds to India to fight against COVID. The community was surprised by this sudden move but later on, took this as a charity event that the brand did.

Even with all these things, Shiba Inu thrived and started to focus on its ecosystem. Shiba Inu worked on its crypto products like Swap, DeFi, NFTs, and other future potential projects. What’s more, Shiba Inu also took a step in supporting arts and animal rescue as well.

Now, people are asking “What’s next for Shiba Inu?” Will Shiba Inu continue their success story and break apart from DOGE to become their tokencomic? Will Shiba build its own story soon?

In conclusion, individually, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin might be similar to other meme coins today but they have different paths to take. Hence, now, what the public wants is to see Shiba Inu and Dogecoin grow apart from each other.
