    • Snoop Dogg and Eminem released a music video featuring their BAYC NFTs.
    • The song, titled “From The D 2 The LBC,” premiered at ApeFest 2022.
    • Both artists are involved prominently with BAYC and NFTs.

On June 24, Snoop Dogg and Eminem released a track called “From The D 2 The LBC” which prominently features Bored Ape Yacht Club. Snoop Dogg’s Bored Ape #6723 and Eminem’s Bored Ape #9055 are heavily featured in the highly stylized and animated music video. Both rappers are known to be involved in BAYC and even attended ApeFest 2022 from June 20-23.

The duo held the world premiere of the song during ApeFest 2022 at New York City’s Pier 17. The collaboration and premiere were kept a secret from the public, as were most of the lineups in the event. In the end, ApeFest 2022 featured artists such as Timbaland, Lil Baby, Haim, Questlove, Future, Lil Wayne, and of course – Eminem and Snoop Dogg.

Both Snoop Dogg and Eminem have exposure with BAYC, as the artists noticeably promote their Bored Apes on Twitter (NYSE:TWTR). Eminem’s Twitter profile picture has the same Bored Ape #9055 that appears heavily in the collab music video with Snoop. Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has actively used his Bored Ape #6723 – which he’s dubbed “Mr. Bombay” – prominently when promoting merch and other collaborations.

Snoop Dogg in particular has been heavily involved in the NFT world. The rapper, and singer-songwriter has collaborated with The SandBox and Clay Nation, has announced his record label “Death Row Records” to involve NFTs, and has even invested in NFT-themed restaurants.

In related news, ApeFest 2022 was Bored Ape Yacht Club’s second annual ApeFest to date. Being one of the NFT world’s biggest events this year, it was sponsored by Web3 Platform Polygon and was powered by BAYC and TokenProof. The event featured secret performers each night as well as NFT-themed food establishments.
