WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Biden discussed issues regarding Ukraine, including India's energy purchases from Russia, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a virtual meeting on Monday but did not make a "concrete ask," a senior U.S. administration official said.

India will make its own decisions, but the United States believes India should not accelerate energy purchases from Russia after its invasion of Ukraine and the ensuing war, the official said. The two leaders had an hour-long, productive and candid conversation, the official said.

US should ask Europe to stop buying energy related products first, bulk of purchases are done by them. India can't afford the high oil prices. Us should offer to sell at $40 discount to brother India.
I trust all Indians do agree with you !!!
The Democrats don’t want a country with high levels of poverty taking advantage of cheap oil with one of their largest trading partners. Calling out the Democrats delusions doesn’t mean you support Putin.
It is time to choose US+Western Countries (G7) or Russia+China. Benefiting from both will be very complicated in next few years or longer.
I would before it's gone...
