I've been playing in this field for about a decade now... gold seems to be a dollar debasement play, not an inflation play... or maybe we just have not had the right kind of inflation... anyway, i am worried that the dollar is reaching a level the fed is uncomfortable with... our trading partners sure are.i don't think gold has a lot left in it if the dollar is forced up.

the west needs to have a "come to Jesus" moment (well technically Deuteronomy and Leviticus)... a compact between all players, that enables the central banks to print the necessary money to pay down the outstanding debt in a way that does not create inflation.

i never knew it was the central bank's charter to ensure stock markets rise. the fact they talk out of one mouth about wealth inequality, yet do everything in their power to exacerbate the inequality... is abject fraud.
