Mr. David Moenning is the founder of Heritage Capital Research, an independent portfolio management consulting firm. Heritage develops and manages customized portfolio solutions for financial professionals focusing on a risk-managed, multi-methodology/strategy/time-frame approach. Mr. Moenning began his investment career in 1980 and founded Heritage Capital Management in 1989. From 2015 through 2017 Mr. Moenning served as Chief Investment Officer for an RIA firm responsible for $1.3 billion.
Mr. Moenning is Past President and Chairman of the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM), an organization dedicated to active management strategies. He is also a sought-after author on the markets. His “State of the Markets” blog, which began in the late 1990’s, blossomed into an award-winning market report focusing on the key drivers to both short- and long-term market movements. Mr. Moenning resides in Golden, Colorado with his wife of 39 years and has three adult children.
