FAA downgrades Mexico's aviation safety rating, which blocks new service to the US. Just one more reason why the peso isn't worth what it is right now. Things in Mexico are continuing to decline under the current administration

That is sad for those affected by that! Mexico's infrastructure has serious issues, as in the US. The drought conditions are also very serious. Mexico needs huge investments in water storage, which is not being addressed to any satisfactory solutions, except to ask at citizens to conserve.

Don't bother wasting your time asking them to do that, They don't listen and put them right back here for some reason.

I really wish that was somebody on here, like there used to be, They could actually give some sound information, instead of people just commenting where they want it to, or were they think it should be

when the Trump factor is removed and the dollar goes strong, it'll be even worse for the Mexican peso. inflation is already upon the Mexican people with the previous weakness of the peso, might as well keep it in the 23

You're right, I see that now too, that everybody's reporting around 20.15 but yet here 20.71?

Wonder if it's due to more election certifications in the US like Michigan being certified today for Biden. The announcement of a third vaccine AstraZeneca only with a 70% efficiency, which is the one that Mexico has negotiated to purchase.

The only thing you probably have right is that if Trump would have won since he likes a weak dollar to make his tariffs look like they were working. Biden Will probably encourage a strong dollar which means it will beat up on the peso weakening it even more. You just have to accept the fact that by Biden WON!! and that people will base their investing decisions on that

He only added a few miles to it as all the rest was replacement to what was already there. You really need to Read before you comment

Just a lot of uncertainty with the election, Even though It's clear that Biden is the winner, The dollar will fall until the election gets certified, and then the peso will take a beating and those that are depending on it going down like SAS, Will be caught with his pants down

You could say the same the same about the US haters. It's not that people are hating on the Mexican people, This is a group for Investors, Not for cheerleaders to cheer on their country. A US citizen currently living in Mexico, so I understand what you're saying, every time the peso benefits me, my Mexican friends suffer, I get it. But again this is the wrong fourm for the support of people or politics of the countries, as it's for Investing. Maybe take it to some other social media. There's a lot of issues in Mexico, I live here, I see it everyday and read it in the Mexican news and financial news, that shows that it's going to be not in the benefit for Mexico, and it's definitely not going to 15, as somebody else keeps pushing on here with definitely no proof of why they feel that way. Anybody can keep posting mainstream news articles trying to prove their point, but just one or two articles doesn't prove nothing.

MK You sure must not know much about investing, what is present right now, may change in a moment's notice.

“As for the pre-election period more specifically, we suspect however that attempts to break below 21.00 might find resistance.” "USD/MXN to trade within 20.85-22.50" – Credit Suisse. I wish some people would restrain posting their fairytale dreams of 15 and now 8, and act like investors than citizens acting like cheerleaders on a strength of the peso

I have to seriously ask do you have your head in the sand. Tourism is way off because of of the pandemic and nothing is going to change this year and going into next year. We would be lucky if the tourism rates recover to pre-pandemic levels by 2022

looks like Banorte is listening to the Mexican president and not to what is actually happening in the country, as a person here in Mexico, it's far from over as we're looking at another possible shutdown, more restrictive than the first one, right now in the state of Jalisco. People still can't return to work and they are protesting down the main avenues because they are starving and out of work for months now. This year high season tourism is going to be nothing compared to prior years. People from the US Canada another countries don't have the money to come nor they won't go for safety reasons and there will be no vaccine before the end of the year that is going to change that

Even though I like what Musk has accomplished, he needs to keep his political views to his self and focus on his own business.

As a person that is strongly against any type of censorship, Unfortunately today you do have to inform mislead people of things like trump and his untruthful tweets. I wouldn't worry about a book coming out because most of them don't and can't read past a headliner, or a short tweet
