Agree with your conclusion that WB is an incredible investor, but you did not mention that this analysis only involves the PUBLICLY TRADED portion of BRK's portfolio. No Geico, no BNSF, no Dairy Queen, no See's Candy, etc... Unfortunately, the trick in properly assigning a valuation to BRK is to assess the value of it's wholly-owned subs.
I thought it was odd that gold wasn't really up and neither was VIX on Friday, given that markets sold off again. Technicals are showing clear bullish divergences and mkts are set up for a HUGE bounce, prob on Wed's Fed mtng or even before.
This inflation is being caused by too much DEMAND because ppl have too much money to spend. Supply chains wouldn't be crippled if ppl needed to work and demand was lower. The cure for inflation is higher prices. This inflation is being caused by too much DEMAND because ppl have too much money to spend. Please don't get vaxed and continue to spread FUD and let natural selection take its course. It's people like you who are part of the reason covid is still spreading. Maybe if you knew people who died from covid you'd think differently. Better, you'll get covid and disappear.
You have no idea what you're talking about or how the taxation of options exercises works. Please stop posting wrong info about topics on which you have zero level of expertise.
Get this. The fact that you said SQ "is really worth $3.46" b/c it "has a P/E of 71" means you have absolutely no idea how to value shares of a company. Utterly misleading bs.
If you must be long, the way to hadle schizo markets is to maintain a barbell approach, or even better, and equal weight stance. There's no way for retail invetors to flip-flop every day depending on the market news du jour.
You are usually really great in your analyss, but I totally disagree with this one. There is no housing bubble. There is a shortage of supply due to builders learning their lesson in 2006-07 re overbuilding, and now there's a labor shortage which will cause supply to lag demand for the foreseeable future.
