All I can say is trade with your eyes and not your ego. Trade what it is and not what you think it should be. Good luck! There is enough volatility here so that everyone can win. The bulls and the bears.

You do realize in 2000 the DOW was around 11,000 and now it's over 31,000? It all depends on your time frame.

ok, I see. So wherever the next candle begins? Not, necessarily where it was when the US markets closed?
Bitcoin: Late-January Breakout Held. Now, On Its Way To $50K+ Feb 09, 2021 5:49PM ET
Here is a silly question. Bitcoin trades 24/7, so what do you mean when you give outcomes based on where Bitcoin closes?

Just think how ugly that would have been without the Musk pump?!
Recent Triggers In SPY, QQQ Suggest U.S. Markets May Enter Rally Phase Jan 22, 2021 8:35PM ET
You better be careful. You've built quite a bear cult following with your endless doom since March. Your lemmings missed out on some big gains sitting in cash, or worse, shorting the market because you wrongfully fed their confirmation bias. You are part of the bear machine now. If you turn bullish, you will have a lot of angry beasts coming for you.

Well, if futures are getting hit because Democrats might win the Senate majority, just think how big the pop will be when they don't.

He is losing because he cares if it's fake or not. You can win either way, up or down, fake or real. Many people seem to have got caught in the wrong side. Instead of changing their position, they just get angry. They would rather be right than rich.

exactly! If you know it's a fraud, then play the fraud. Seems like these yahoo's should have the upper hand since they are so certain they know what's up. Yet, they lose, day-in and day-out. The best part is, one day they will be right, but I'll win then too.

I don't get it. You and your fellow conspiracy theorist seem to know this is a fraud, and yet you bet against it. Trade what you know and you just might find you have a couple of extra bucks in your account. I'll never understand you people. 🤔

Yikes! It must be hard being you. I'm sorry for your losses. Try meditation or something. I know it sounds crazy, but it does help your stress and anxiety levels. You can't win when your head isn't straight.
Dow Ends 2020 at Record High as Bulls Continue Stampede on Final Day Dec 31, 2020 7:45PM ET
Why do the bears hate winning so much? If you think it's a fraud, then play it instead if having a useless ego that enables it to play you. Agree with it it not, the market is always right. Even if it gets to make up it's own truth, regardless if reality. Perhaps you are right and it will drop 4000 points. So what? A person without an ego will make money off a bull and bear market. There is no right or wrong, there is only what is. So trade what is, not what you think it should be. Let go of your ego and you might find yourself winning for a change.

only go short if Georgia votes in both Democratic Senators. I think it's unlikely they get both and take over the Senate. If Republican maintain control in the Senate, it will block most of Biden's "Wall Street unfriendly" policies. In which case the rally will continue until 2023 when Fed is expecting to raise rates again.

I hedge when the market looks weak, but I've only had to keep them for a couple of days at a time lately.

I like to read this stuff because it cracks me up. I do not understand why you all want this to go down so bad. You've all been completely wrong for 8 months now. I guess you're used to losing and are just numb to it now. I'm sorry for your losses. Keep your head up.
S&P 500 Aug 24, 2020 12:35PM ET
I'm not saying why it's going up. No one really knows why. I'm just saying that the pumping from the RNC will only add fuel to the fire, so it's less likely the bears' dream will come true this week.
S&P 500 Aug 24, 2020 12:27PM ET
no need to apologize. I'm not talking stimulus or plasma. All week will be the same pumping Trump, Kudlow and the rest of them have been doing for the last 4 years. If there is a week to jack it up with hope, this is the week. So, expect the pumping to intensify.
S&P 500 Aug 24, 2020 12:19PM ET
You bears do know the RNC is this week right? Trump's measure of success is the stock market, so expect a week long pump. You're doing and gloom will have to wait another week.
S&P 500 Futures Aug 23, 2020 11:06PM ET
With the RNC next week, you know the market will be pumped for the next 5 days. All they will talk about is the greatest economy of all time and the highest stick market if all time and a V shaped this and a V shaped that. If you are looking for doom and gloom, I doubt you get it this week. But, we shall see.

eventually, but not any time soon. Companies are taking in so much cheap debt, encouraged by the FED, that if they raise rates too soon, they will *******corporate America. They won't do that. That is why the Fed IS the economy. At least for Wall Street. Main Street can suffer and not affect Wall Street because, at the moment, they are being funded by the Fed. If they raise rates before Main Street gets back in it's feet, they will hurt the America that really matters, and no one wants that. That is why the Fed always pushes for more fiscal stimulus, that helps Main Street. But, you can't rely on Congress for anything. If they do come up with some stimulus, it will likely make even newer highs, and they will eventually.

I agree with a short term pullback, but it will be a buying opportunity if it happens.

Granted, if you insist to use the industry P/E, they are still overvalued any way you look at it. However, each industry has its own P/E, so each is valued differently. That being said, the P/E is only useful for value stocks. If anything, a high P/E for growth is good because it's a string sentiment indicator.
