I see: "According to an analysis by the US research agency S3 Partners, a good 26 percent of the freely tradable share capital of the financial services provider is said to be in short positions." "is said to be" I don't like this kind of talk. Also, in the same article:  " Finally, some of the shortsellers are said to have dissolved their positions, as the manager magazine writes. The largest short sellers include the New York investment house Coatue Management, Greenvale Capital from London and the hedge fund Marshall Wace. Wirecard also has well-known supporters such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Blackrock and Deutsche Bank subsidiary DWS, who hold comparatively high shares in Wirecard." I see a possible short squeeze... I see: "According to an analysis by the US research agency S3 Partners, a good 26 percent of the freely tradable share capital of the financial services provider is said to be in short positions." While I am betting on the company as I think that the worst case scenario has been priced in, I still hope this serves as a lesson to management to be more transparent. As I believe it is a growing company, I also believe it is a growing management team (in maturity and experience).

I believe worst case scenario was already priced in when the stock hit low 70s. Even if there is accounting manipulation I see huge upside from that value in a few years time.
