Why don’t the Dems just nationalize everything and go full commie like many of their supporters want? They keep going further down that road with their love of central planning and the seizure of productive economic capital through taxation.

So inflation has to have more than offset all those government handouts during the pandemic. Hopefully people heed this lesson. Government spending, especially through borrowing which requires money printing, is always inflationary.

Most people don’t care about the haggling over the debt ceiling since it does not make sense when one can set their own limits. The only fear is being driven by media needing a story.

Take away voter ID laws, and the often talked about citizenship requirement, and this is how Democrats hope to continue to expand their voter base. They are making a farce of US democracy, and most of the world outside the west knows it.
