That's odd. There are more people commenting on AFC under USA language flag than there are under UK. I'm waiting for it to come down to 60p before reloading. If newsflow happens before that, c'est la vie. I've still got 5 tranches averaging under 18p ... and that's after I already took profits to pretty much double my pension fund value.

Nah. Repositioning for the New Year and perhaps the shock (for some) of evidence of trump trying to steal the election.

If it isn't it has gone through a whole trading 'ranmge' in a week or so. If it isn't it has gone through a whole trading 'ranmge' in a week or so.

Its not one pullback, its massive over supply for the current demand levels. No justification for the price staying this high when it all shakes out.. Strong sell on the hourly now , lets see if 28.4 holds this time. Its not one pullback, its massive over supply for the current demand levels. Ok, maybe it has to go through 3.284 to fine hone the prediction above.
Copper Nov 25, 2020 3:48AM ET
Through 29, it goes to 25. Through 25 it goes to 18, Through 18 it goes to 04. and that is still too high!

"the infrastructure rebuilding required in China after the COVID-19 outbreak" What rebuilding? Did I miss them bulldozing firebreaks through cities or something? Sorry - doesn't make any sense.  Latest rise above $3.25/lb likely due to Peruvian politics, which doesn't make a lot of sense either. The metal is over-inflated right now or the last 5 years of pricing make no sense whatsoever.

Short Cu at $3.20/lb - I predict under $3.00/lb within 3 weeks the latest

Short closed $2.857 after 6 weeks holding. Glad to get out with a 4% profit, especially as I couldn't get a price early on when it was below $2.85. (3HCS)

i'm holding a loss too. I think USD strengthens some more and it comes down, but as I'm short via an ETF  I can afford to wait a while.

Hardly collapsing, but i take your point. Its certainly weakening and it may not recover now in the run up to the election. Hardly collapsing, but i take your point. Its certainly weakening and it may not recover now in the run up to the election.

I'm short at about $2.94 and starting to get a bit worried, frankly. I can't see what is holding the price up, but I've been saying that for a week or two. I'm starting to wonder if its possible copper stays in the $3-$3.25 trading range which we've only seen once for a short while in the last 5 years. How could that be as we enter a global recession and copper is supposedly the global economic bellwether?
Copper Aug 28, 2020 5:36AM ET
Dream on mate. Over supply and global recession send it to $2.5-$2.75 trading range when the $3-$3.25 range fails to hold once again.
