Not that much different in the US.  Top 3 control the market while blocking improvements to rural or poorer areas of users although we pay fees and taxes to provide rural coverage that stinks.

The us dust bowl years (91 years ago) drought was exacerbated by poor farming practice and plowing up the prairies protective species and was global in effect. God ended the droughts as he saw conservation efforts expanded to prevent such a future event. The last several years rainforest destruction is now creating a similar drought of global proportions.  Will we ever learn, or continue in our greedy destructive ways?  God help us again, please!

These companies usually pay effective tax rates in the low single digits. They would have to be taxed substantially more to get that up to the lowered target of 21%.  We need to vote with our pocket books until they take notice!

Yes I know inflation is here and has been for some time, especially in the Ag sector.  I'm not talking commodity prices although they've doubled since April of 2020.  I'm talking chemical, repairs, equipment,supplies, fuel, etc.  we're probably looking at 20% inflation easily and there really wasn't much of a dip in these areas to create much of a lower base last year..
