Democrats pass U.S. bill to lower drug prices that Trump threatens to veto Dec 12, 2019 4:25PM ET
You can take up any partisan topic you want. Immigration, taxes, impeachment, education, food stamps, climate change. But the 2020 election is going to come down to this specific topic.
High-stakes White House meeting expected Thursday to debate U.S.-China tariffs: sources Dec 12, 2019 9:10AM ET
This next round is tariffs on consumer goods. So far, the US consumer has barely felt these impacts. Consumer-led pullbacks and recessions are much harsher than corporate led. Remember 2009? Trump will cave. No stamina.

China Sees U.S. Postponing Dec. 15 Threat as Tariff Cuts Debated Dec 10, 2019 4:20PM ET
nope. Which is why his validating NK by meeting as many times as he has while declaring success only makes them stronger. They have done NOTHING to denuclearize and yet he is bowing down to them. nope. Which is why his validating NK by meeting as many times as he has while declaring success only makes them stronger. U.S., Canada and Mexico sign agreement - again - to replace NAFTA Dec 10, 2019 4:17PM ET
nope. It would have had a hugely pacifyjng affect on China’s ability to set labor and environmental standards in their own favor. It’s absence allows China to boost exports in Asia under their own terms. Trump made China far stronger by pulling out and now we are left with current mess he has put us in. nope. House Democrats claim victory in revamping U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade pact Dec 10, 2019 12:34PM ET
Keeping TPP would have been better.  It made NAFTA obsolete and put the US in a huge position of power over China.  I guess abandoning TPP simply for spite wouldn't leave Trump anyone to blame though.
U.S., Canada and Mexico sign agreement - again - to replace NAFTA Dec 10, 2019 11:36AM ET
TPP was better. It rendered NAFTA obsolete and made China much weaker. This is a fraction of that.
China Sees U.S. Postponing Dec. 15 Threat as Tariff Cuts Debated Dec 10, 2019 11:32AM ET
There are only three certainties in life. Death. Taxes. And Trump will cave on negotiations. We’ve seen it with NK, the wall, the shutdown. He has no stamina for this sort of thing. Even Jimmy Carter was a better negotiator.
Biden campaign attacks Trump policy on Saudi Arabia, North Korea Dec 09, 2019 12:12PM ET
I cant stand Biden and these democrats, but Trump is getting played like a fiddle by NK and SA.
Former Fed Chief Paul Volcker, inflation slayer, dies at 92 Dec 09, 2019 12:09PM ET
RIP, Volcker. This is a man who was nominated by two separate parties and knew how to ignore political pressure, raising rates to unheard of levels to squash inflation and do what was right for the country. He truly understood how the system worked.
Trump says Kim Jong Un risks losing 'everything' after North Korea claims major test Dec 08, 2019 1:25PM ET
NK is playing Trump like a fiddle.  Just like Putin does.  If the Big Orange Fiddle keeps getting played like this in front of China, they will never agree to a deal.  Worst dealmaker ever.
Mexico, U.S. draw closer to finalizing USMCA: source Dec 07, 2019 7:30PM ET
Would have been better to stay in TPP. Would have made China hyper-weak and rendered NAFTA obsolete and redundant altogether.

Trump calls for World Bank to stop loaning to China Dec 07, 2019 12:21PM ET
I love it.  Trump complains China is getting a $1.9 billion loan from the WTO while China in turn is lending the US $1.11TRILLION.  China's willingness to lend the US is keeping rates out the curve far lower than the Fed is.  In one punch, China could cause US interest rates to skyrocket and Trump acts like we don't need them.

Canada sees 'tough challenge' getting trade deal ratified by U.S. Dec 06, 2019 1:55AM ET
Should have stayed in TPP. Trump caused this problem in the first place purely out of spite for Obama.
Canada sees 'tough challenge' getting trade deal ratified by U.S. Dec 06, 2019 1:53AM ET

you posit a lot of questions that have obvious answers I suppose.  If you don\'t like the answer, don\'t ask.  Sorry if you view my facts as opinions.  They are not and they are also sourced by the US Govt.  If you are going to use a statement like \"record high wage growth,\" perhaps say highest in the past 10 years (which is also not true), but for many of us that have studies economics, we know of much better times than these.  I see a lot of truth bending to your liking which is fine I suppose if that makes you feel validated, but it certainly doesn\'t strengthen your argument.   you posit a lot of questions that have obvious answers I suppose.  If you don't like the answer, don't ask.  Sorry if you view my facts as opinions.  They are not and they are also sourced by the US Govt.  If you are going to use a statement like "record high wage growth," perhaps say highest in the past 10 years (which is also not true), but for many of us that have studies economics, we know of much better times than these.  I see a lot of truth bending to your liking which is fine I suppose if that makes you feel validated, but it certainly doesn't strengthen your argument.

Actually, wage growth is currently only 4.9%.  The peak was 13.78% back in the late 1970s.  I touched near 8% during the Obama administration in late 2012.  When Trump took office it was 4.4% and got as high 5.6% and as low as 3.7%.   Trump\'s record with wage growth is on the low end of average with a range that is not that big.  Anecdotally, wage growth was about 4.9% at the beginning of 2008 ... right before recession.  Good question and there is the answer.  By the way, know your fact before making statements...   Actually, wage growth is currently only 4.9%.  The peak was 13.78% back in the late 1970s.  I touched near 8% during the Obama administration in late 2012.  When Trump took office it was 4.4% and got as high 5.6% and as low as 3.7%.   Trump's record with wage growth is on the low end of average with a range that is not that big.  Anecdotally, wage growth was about 4.9% at the beginning of 2008 ... right before recession.  Good question and there is the answer.  By the way, know your fact before making statements...
