Why is this not getting simply delisted? There is no way this will ever recover, right? Is the company even continuing its day to day operations as if nothing happened?
Apple May 20, 2021 7:19AM ET
I hold solid company stocks incl. Apple, as well as various cryptocurrencies. Believing in the business of those solid companies does not necessarily mean I can't believe in decentralized finance and cryptocurrency dominqted future financial system. So no need to make this an either this or that game. Both have their pros and cons. Keeping positions both in stock markets and crypto world is smart in my opinion.
Walt Disney May 14, 2021 10:19AM ET
You can't do wrong with DIS as a long term investment. So I think this is a buying opportunity. Parks will be back to full capacity soon as well.
Daimler May 05, 2021 9:39AM ET
That doesn't necessarily mean that. For instqnce they might be needing money for operational for operational functions and decided to cash their 1% stake in Daimler. This is like you saying if I hold x amount of ABC stock and I am selling it, it's because I think that's the absolute peak. But of course it's not. Maybe I just need cash to buy a house.
Daimler May 05, 2021 3:36AM ET
No. This drop is largely due to Nissan selling their entire stock in Daimler, following what Renault did earlier. It's more a buying opportunity in my opinion.
Nio A ADR Mar 26, 2021 9:57AM ET
why? are they getting paid leave? I was worried it's unpaid or reduced paid until it reopens.
Tesla Mar 25, 2021 11:36AM ET
Well I am interested in how much BTC they bought. In the end it's currently a volatile asset and if they bought BTC with half of their balance sheet I'd be worried as investor. Knowing it's in fact just a fraction of their balance sheet they put on BTC, it's fine. In the end it's volatile but can actually go up too right? I sold most of TSLA around 0 and now waiting for the right time to jump back in but certainly we will never ever see 0 again. No chance. Maybe 0 but even that's highly unlikely. Keep dreaming. And BTC decoupled? Did you even know how much BTC they bought? Don't act as if they converted all their cash to BTC.

I agree this kind of software will always be needed going forward but why pay money for a simple video conferencing software? It's nothing that complicated. Many free and open source alternatives will emerge soon so it will make no sense to pay for such a software. It's like we used to pay for our web browser 20-30 years ago but today great browsers out there and all for free. Overvalued. It's just a video telephony software, nothing that special. Many free and open source alternatives can be expected to appear. I don't get why anyone pays money for such a simple software. Similar is Dropbox. So many better and open source alternatives out there, e.g. OwnCloud
Zoom Video Mar 03, 2021 2:31PM ET
I think one of the main problems is Zoom is in a business where free, open source alternatives could emerge easily. Also their main rival Microsoft's product Teams is also quite good. I'm using both regularly and can't say Zoom is better than Teams or the other way around. I mean this is not a rocket science business, I hope many free, open source alternatives will be out there to replace both Zoom and Teams eventually. I mean let's face it, why are we even paying money for such a simple software?

Why would we lose everything? People are in this movement with what they can afford to lose. Don't worry, nobody in this with their food money (at least mostly). We keep on holding...
AMC Entertainment Feb 02, 2021 2:43PM ET
Bankruptcy is off the table as financing was secured for enough cash to burn throughout the pandemic and utilities theaters reopen. So not that bad owning this stock in the portfolio. Very likely to rise when theaters reopen all over the world. Remember this is the biggest theater chain the whole world, owning theaters in pretty much every country through subsidiaries.
AMC Entertainment Feb 02, 2021 9:05AM ET
Exactly. You should be buying with money you can afford to lose anyway. Not with the money you're supposed to buy food with.
AMC Entertainment Feb 02, 2021 6:59AM ET
True. Airlines in that pool as well.
AMC Entertainment Feb 02, 2021 6:52AM ET
Hold/Buy. Look at it this way: What's the worst that can happen, even if the squeeze never happens as the bots claim? You end up with a bunch of AMC shares. And AMC already announced bankruptcy is off the table! So it's not like your shares will ever be worthless. The company looks forward to theaters reopening. Eventually they will start making good money again and this will be reflected on the share price.

Most of you could be in profit range today. But don't be tempted to sell and take profits. There might still be some way to go. At least if you do wanna take some profits, don't sell it all, keep some for the ride.
AMC Entertainment Feb 01, 2021 3:31AM ET
Currently 42% green
AMC Entertainment Jan 29, 2021 4:14PM ET
Yeah, have some buy orders in place in case it drops more after market, although it's green already :) Enjoy your weekend all.
