Goals/Routine/Lessons

What motivates you to be a trader?
Made a promise to God (after failing for 18 years) that if he gave me the wisdom and will to keep moving forward, I would help my family, friends, and others. Considering you don't break those promises, you can believe I have plenty of motivation.

What have you determined to be your goal(s) for trading?
Be successful.

Which kind of returns do you expect to make?
Double, triple, quadruple, quintuple, sextuple, my money over time. 1 or 2 trades at a time.

What is your trading methodology?
Use long term trends (trend lines) to help determine a "realistic" position with info that is factual.

What is your daily pre-market (before trading) routine?
Coffee, CNBC for entertainment, get the fire place warmed up, comb my hair before the 2:20 reversal, little "ribbing" on investing.com chat room about who was right from the previous day :)

What is the best thing about trading?
Going back to visit the people who told you that "you don't understand." :)

What is the most important lesson that you have learned in your trading?
Money has NOTHING to do with it. Try looking a dollar bill for information about a successful trade. I'm a strong believer that you'll never be successful until you've failed for years. That experience keep you from harm in the future. Traders have a hard time listening to others which means you need first hand experience at failure ... otherwise "You don't know!"
