Great news for oil companies/workers. Bad news for consumers/drivers. I hope they don't get too greedy with raising the price per barrel...If so, look out cause you never know how this will affect the economy. Might usher in another collapse like 2008! I like oil powered vehicles, but I really think it's time to give Donald the boot and bring in some Dems for the mid-terms and in 2020. Hope we can move away from oil/gasoline powered cars/trucks. It's a thing of the past if you ask me, and the GREED is really big in oil, as proven here in the article! Same with Natural Gas anymore! Dirty fuels/greedy people!
Hope Facebook goes out of business. It's annoying and useless anyway! I used to have an account, but have since deleted it. So many people are self-absorbed and in love with themselves on there that it's sickening! They detail every moment of their day at times. It's like, "Who cares"!
I see Heating Oil rose slightly, well in line with Oil prices, basically. So, maybe 40 percent in the last 6 months to a year. Isn't Heating Oil related very much to kerosene and diesel? Very similar products, if not the same. And jet fuel is basically similar. It's like kerosene. So I'm assuming jet fuel is in line with heating oil/oil prices. Not sure but I'd think so. Oil inventories are at an all time high right now, therefore the price of oil shouldn't have really risen 40 or 50 percent, in my opinion. If it bottomed out at 26 or 27, why did the price double? Speculation? I'm no expert on the stock market but seems that supply/demand aren't really much different than a year or 2 ago. Big inventories still building. Well, I'm happy for the employees of oil and gas companies, that's one great thing about higher prices I suppose. More folks put back to work and making money again etc. And I know oil companies need to make a profit, they really do. But does supply/demand still count?!
I thought supply and demand is what drove prices? I must be wrong. Cause we have a massive supply of oil products everywhere! And demand isn't too strong I don't think. Must be fake prices or else we would have dipped below 50 a barrel. Corruption I suppose. I guess they can charge whatever amount they want for oil, no matter what supply/demand is. Mays well just charge 100 or 200 a barrel, or 300 etc lol. No wonder Capitalism and Wall Street comes up in every Presidential campaign. They are thieves to the core! Maybe jail sentences should be handed out! I'm all for it!
They ought to just keep it named after the Clinton's. I know they, and many other politicians have been involved in questionable stuff, but if Texas has an airport named after Bush, then why not Arkansas named after the Clinton's? At least when Clinton lied, no one died! That's the truth, compared to both Bush's, who led us into big wars with terrible consequences! All I can say is this-No more shrubs in the White House! I mean no more Bush's! I'm glad the Trumpster turned Jeb into a joke, or else we may have had him in there now. Geesh, how catastrophic that would have been! The Clinton's are good folks. I do think that. Bill was a good President.
It should be below 50. We have the most oil we've ever had! OPEC cuts may be outweighed by other countries producing more. Maybe oil companies will continue to drill for more oil (in the 50's)-They're more efficient now ...therefore still producing and keeping supply healthy. I wish their employee's well! Same time, consumers everywhere can enjoy lower prices. More money into the economy, retirement plans, pay down debts etc. I think it's a win-win for the oil employee's/companies and consumers to have oil at, (50-60's)per barrel. Even if it would go to 60, 65 and stay there, it'd work too. When oil was 100+, it affected ppl's wallets. Everyone is affected-oil prices effect everything(Costs) from groceries, utility costs, filling up vehicles, etc! Oil is very important! 60 dollar oil, if reached, would not disappoint oil workers or consumers. even 65 oil-if it would stay there. Consumers and oil companies should meet in the middle, 55, 60, or even 65/barrel. It'd be a win-win for all!
Yes, you're right! I think the Republicans just want oil prices to go up. That's it. I just hope they don't go looking around for a big war somewhere to boost oil prices. You never know about the GOP. Bush Jr was a complete joke and his administration was wacko! Hope Trump and the GOP don't try and trade blood for higher oil prices like baby Bush and daddy Bush. By that I mean starting a big war somewhere.
OPEC this and OPEC that, and on and on and on! These prices, especially after EIA's report yesterday on oil supplies shows this commodity is artificially inflated! Market manipulation! We have more oil than ever now! Nothing has changed about supply. In fact, the supply's gotten bigger! Why oil prices have doubled from their lows is beyond me! 26 a year ago or so, should be the same now...or maybe a little more. Not in the mid-50's! What greed and lies! 10 USD a barrel too high IMO. Should be 44 a barrel maybe.
This is just unbelievable! If we're going by supply and demand, oil prices should go down, not up! Must be market manipulation at its best. The USA and likely the rest of this planet is swimming in oil, what is going on?! Why is oil 54 now? Should be under 50, probably! This is criminal! Literally!
Maybe if these liberals wouldn't impose such a ridiculously high tax on cigarettes, that overwhelmingly hurt the poor and middle class, there wouldn't be a black market. Yep, they always preach and preach about how the top 1 percent rake in everything. Ha! The Dems are just as responsible as the GOP for that, maybe more! I'm convinced that you may as well close your eyes and just tap any button when voting is underway! It wouldn't make a bit of difference. 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other!
Yeah right! OPEC has been saying this for at least a year now! I don't think there's any chance of any type of freeze. U.S. drillers will just come back online because of this higher price of Crude. Looks like there's big competition these days now between OPEC and the USA for Crude oil production...because of the advancement in Fracking in the USA. Hang onto your hats, we won't see 100 dollars a barrel ever again LOL! The only way that's possible is if Trump gets in and stops OPEC imports, which he would love to do. Bad for the consumer though. Gas will be 5 bucks a gallon again if Trump gets in. Clinton likely won't pull a stunt like that...and it looks like she'll likely be our next president....so we will see! Plus, Trump may invade everyplace on the planet too...and you know what that does to the price of Crude...UP!! Keep him away from the "Big red button" lol.
I would think, most likely, it would put pressure on NG prices. In other words, NG would be cheaper if Saudi Arabia starts producing it. Anytime you have increased production, anywhere in the world, I'd think NG prices would take a hit. Exporting it, from the USA, may take a hit, too, because you're going to have big production taking place elsewhere, like Saudi Arabia...and who knows where else in time to come. But with the restrictions on Coal fired electricity, it's possible NG may be able to be higher in price. Less competition between Coal and NG due to the EPA and sorts, yeah NG may run a bit higher in price. If NG gets too high, coal is used by utilities to produce electricity, and vie-versa. If coal is done away with, or continues to be lessened by the EPA, well than yeah, better news for NG. At any rate, seems like NG is kind of the "New" and reliable way to produce heat, and electricity...and even power vehicles in many cases. I think this will lead to more "Stable" prices.
Well, if OPEC wants to keep gobbling up market share, why would they change anything(output), cause if so, oil goes to 40, maybe 50 a barrel and then, bam, online comes USA's drilling! I know they want to ***the USA's drilling, and its oil companies and/or business. All I have to say is this: Cheap gas/oil is great for the people. I'd rather fill up my car for 20 bucks, rather than 50 bucks or more! Yes, maybe it's hurting the stock market, and maybe small oil companies will merge and create some kind of monopoly, but it's good for us, the consumers, to pay way less at the pump! I worry about all mergers/monopolies, I don't think anything too great comes from less competition. That concerns me! Other than that, I enjoy filling up the car for 18 bucks!!!! Seems like the 90's again!!! Hope the small guys will still be able to compete though!!!!! We don't need a Wal-Mar t of Oil Companies! A monopoly sort of thing....Can that happen? Maybe I'm not exactly right in my analysis?? Lol

I think a 155 bcf draw is unlikely for the week ending feb. 5th. I would say that's a bit higher than what the actual drawdown will be. Here in PA, the entire week was way above average in temps. I see maybe a 140 bcf draw at most. In my opinion. We'll see. As for the next 2 weeks, yes big draws but it'll likely warm back up shortly thereafter.
The more and more I see the war on cheap, very reliable fossil fuels by the Democrats, especially Obama, the more I see they must go away. And a Republican must win. This is ludicrous to wage this big war on our reliable, and inexpensive fossil fuels!! What good is the Democrats supposed support for Social Security, and other social programs if they want to ruin, and literally destroy the fossil fuels that we have relied on for hundreds of years?? Oh yeah, thanks Pres. Obama, now we can sink 3 quarters of our Social Security checks into driving down the road...in a piece of junk automobile that the Car Companies will be forced to ram down our, the Consumer's throats, due to Obama's new, outrageous EPA MPG standards and tree-hugging stance. Cruz for President 2016!!!!! Or even Trump, who cares. I won't be voting Democrat anytime soon, again!!!!!
Seems to me that the NG price shot up a bit too much. Really, it's been bearish storage reports for a while, due to the mild winter and record storage amount! And the weather is not going to get too cold at all. Average temps, and even above in a week's time. Looks to me like, at the end of the heating season, we may still have 2 trillion cubic feet left!
Obama is a great President, and a great man! I wish him and his family the best of luck after he leaves office in a year. Hopefully, he will appear, from time to time, in the media to offer his opinions on different events/stories! Smart fellow! Likeable as well!
