You will get a better price before the election if you want to bet on who win. Probably even a better price if the democrat take the house

OIH trading within 10% of where it bottomed in 2009. It’s not Tilray, but it’s a wonderful opportunity nonetheless.

SRTY is looking good, might start trading that instead of TVIX as it gets more expensive. Also seems like it has much less support from Charlie lol

My market read. Market should remain volatile for at least another 4 weeks.  Doji weekly close with long upper wick usually means downside not over and 2695 should be tested. Bulls need a move above 2798 to signal a change in trend. Low 10% possibility of a move to 2600 before the end of October. Am holding 1 short NQ myself from 7224 with current stop around breakeven.

that's impact of America first . when I just Hurd that I was like ok maybe that's good idea, but it looks like many other nations have simular thinking .Canadian think Canada first, Chinese think China first and so on. difference between US and other nation was that other nation used to invest and buy more US products and invest in the US. now we still have same old hubits to drive bimers and Toyotas for example, while other nations are changing theirs. Canadian milk was big issue on trade talks and look at it now .

Hugh MongusI get it.  Sharing a bunch of numbers and statistics looks good but everyone has a different system and no one else knows the thought process behind it.  I am looking at the 50 week MA and 200 day MA in conjunction with a bunch of other stuff I look at.  Looking at some extremes and some Gann stuff.  Fractals-etc.  I dont have some magical treatise that will make you money or anything here.

They dont look good but I am still bullish.  I am looking at the yield curve and fundamentals to see if I need to be more cautious in my general outlook which has been consistent for years.

Did the math, every $100 billion of stock buybacks equates to an increase in ES of approx. 9 points. Now do your own math for year end.

Correct Hugh, so 9 points would be the maximum possible for $100 billion. Moral of the story, don’t drink the buyback koolaid from all the analysts claiming buybacks will keep the markets from dropping.

Frog, correct, I should have said a maximum of 9 points, which we all no isn’t true, still making buybacks negligible to who (PPT?) is in control of these markets.
