I will never block a good indicator.  You see, if you can't find someone who is right 100% of the time, one who is equally wrong WILL serve the purpose.

Currently $ES_F, $SPX $SPY in a mini down channel until intersection with the intermediate term uptrend. within the down channel there is a lot of range play and individual stocks are moving well. see chart: https://invst.ly/7rr06

@ Jim, what is naive about some profit taking accordingly. The larger short is still set up but when you can book green it seems the smart thing to do if you are preserving/raising capital. I have been short since Thursday, covered in PT area and got long and now sold those. Momentarily when I see what they do with the close after Europe I will get short again (most likely since I am ready about now)

FYI...larger longer term shorts are in play but these hedges that present themselves are gifts I think everyone needs to take advantage of. 77.25 pretty well protected so far here although they got it above a bit higher. Shorts and longs are trading about 1-2 points of their range...hence the difficulties

@Jim, I suspect those that bought long this morning are simply visiting Comedy Central here and fading it....seems to work well.

Ya had a short profit taking area bounce right back into a long profit taking area. Why does everyone make this so difficult?

The idea that short covering explains the daily bounce from the open is naive at best.

Very good dip already on INTC, bought 1000 shares at 52.55, sold 52.85  Get in now, possibly will recover 1% or more by end of day. It was downgraded by an insignificant analyst and people overreacted.
