Question for you all - I observed a huge volume spike in every major security on the last 1 minute bar on Friday, for many it coincided with a higher close, for some lower close. What do you make of it? Spike was far in excess of previous 3:59-4pm bars

Examples: AMZN last 1 minute bar accounted for 25% of daily volume, AAPL 51%, JNJ 33%, V 41%, 33%, etc. etc.... highly unusual percentages compared to previous closing 1 minute bars

snooker even with charts and analysis it's only hunch. That's all anyone has. Or it's called inside trading.  Here's some analysis. Dow short term overbought. Long term some high flyers parabolic moves have begun to unwind. Trade talks cancelled. None of the indices have with authority made new highs, therefore if they drop marginally below Jan highs many will fear a double top. My hunch is we drop about 100 six points over the next few weeks and then make news highs in a final blowoff top that takes us over 3000. Only hunch.

Goldman said 60% chance of tariffs on the remaining $267B by year end. This is when the fun may begin for real since China may choose to retaliate in a nasty way.

not saying there's a rational explanation. Just look at JD, set to bounce off a multiyear support on the weekly, BABA is on an island by virtue of 2 gapups. I can't imagine what the driver will be fir the next big move. Also look at KO, CVS, and similar. No sign of weakness

Patunja Pateto About Gold... 1189 02 1238 is the question for this market... presently sideways leaning Bullish bias... If 1189.5 is taken out, both the upside PriceCount pattern and sideways pattern will be broken, which would leave 1167.1 or lower as a downside price objective. Until 1189.5 is taken out, the current PriceCount pattern is a bullish one, with a 1st PriceCount. objective of 1238.1, 2nd=1263, 3rd= 1309

From a macro standpoint, any decent dip is a buy. The Sto, TSI, RSI, CCI, **** PPO all look Bullish on the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly to me. I didn't buy enough at the last pullback, looking to grab more asap. FED has raised interest rates 8 times since 2015, only affected is the Dollar and Gold, inflation not so much. Fund managers like to stickit to their clients at the beginning of a quarter so I'm looking at first 2 weeks or 2nd and 3rd week of Oct. to be bullish.
