This one simple thing helped some big bankers predict the when the crash of 1929 and 1987 would occur. You need to know what a processing cap is.As our markets are ignoring a race war and an ongoing pandemic which is getting worse in many parts of the US and other countries, economies try to “reopen” as skeletal versions of their past selves. We are also ignoring over 40 million unemployed reported in the US, because investors think there are only 2 million more each month. The truth? The US unemployment system uses something called “processing caps,” which is a maximum number of cases they are allowed to process each month. Their computer systems are physically stopping them from processing more than around 2 million per month. Tens of millions more are actually unemployed right now, trying to file for unemployment. However the state pushes them back to the next month because of these caps. Ewch month they will lower the cap a litte to make it look like things are improving.
