We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.

19600 Most likely? Anybody agree? . Why many brokers not permitting to trade Italy40 now? this make the case stronger for Italy40 to move faster in either direction due to thin volume.....

It is phenomenal to watch the Italian stock market crashes over 10% in more than a month. Everybody was very complacent even after the election produced a hung parliament, and even when the League and 5 star were seriously discussion to form a coalition. Italy is deeply indebted, and only survies because of the articially low interest rate thanks to ECB. Suddenly then there is pay back time.. . I think there will be more pain , even if a full scale financial disaster does not occur (can't be ruled out though)Italian sovereign debt yields will definitely be much higher than three months ago, adding to the already stretvhed public finance.. . Goood luck!
