 this would be zero in the future if uso didnt change its fundaments

i have very low invested here, depending on what happens I'll put more or take a loss.

Roll over 19 May. By closing at 1700. Take delivery or sell.. Most will sell. Oil price tanks .. so will USO and UCO .. Next day is bargain hunt. Or the day after ..
Selling all my USO positions this week. Wont touch this till after roll over. Maybe 20 May afternoon
Roll overs and contango will prevent this fund from ever succeeding.

They can change the fund structure whenever they like I guess. This helped them avoid going fully down, and I think it’ll help them to take advantage of future contracts when there is an opportunity.

Unfortunately I had more confidence in the funds management and bought in weeks before any talk of a split at $5, and sold before the split at $2.55.  It was one dumb decision after another that drove me out. I don't think it will ever make it to $40. I learned my lesson the hard way about USO.

People put their money into calls @ 20 15 $ BBL  that were working well before the flash crash..., then they reverse split & changed the rules. so Even when oil goes up as long as the new contract dont move the calls remin borderline worthless

I still remember these guys before split hoping that this will reach at 10 (80 now). I told you this will NEVER ever go more than 6 again (49 now). I think they learned their lesson

I think with the us reopening for business people going to work airlines moving and factories reopening with safety standards add to that the production cuts the stock will have to go hire Trump is moving to phase 2 of the reopening Europe as well add to that there will be a vaccine in the next 6 months These factors combined will have to drive the oil up KSA has already borrowed 100s of billions the Russians and the saudis are as well affected by the low prices as they’re not making money, the oil will have to go up
whoever comments here is either long, or short USO. Including the ones who claim “I already sold... it’s a scam... it’ll go to zero... it’ll never reach $X etc.”

Its Criminal what the managers did to lock in everyones losses on this fund, when the front month is all the way back. Sell low buy high is no way to make money
It’s banks a fleecing the public is what it is, and it’s criminal if you ask me.

looks like the start of another channel but dont take my word for it
by buying this stock you are buying future contract. If there is no one to sell future contract at expiration , we can see negative price again. Unless and untill there is place for storage, this stock can be a disaster again. Dont fall in this trap of higher oil prices in Q3. invest at the right time and this is not the right time with so much uncertainty
