A good amount. Like 30000. Thats 10k ounces of silver. Might as well stand for a futures contract. But the difference is we know Sprott is keeping the silver and not lending it out.

What is it about these etfs that seem to *******small traders that cant afford 1000 oz on the futures market? Silver up 3%, etfs up 1 %. Silver down 2% etfs down 3 %. Seems like slv, pslv, gld etc are a tool for institutions to *******the small investor.
why is this down today? silver is up almost 1%
PSLV is in the process of Selling Units to buy shares, however they're limited to 10% of their holdings outside of their vault at any time. When they reach that limit they have to slow down on their buying shares which shoots the price above spot at a premium. Yesterday they only purchased 300k oz Silver and ended over 1% above spot, today they increased the purchases and went back into line with Silver spot price. They'll track spot pretty closely over the long run, though jump above and below it at times in the short run.

I have been watching Sprott Silver for several days and it has consistently lagged behind SLV which is the opposite of what I would have expected.  Does anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening?  I realize because they hold the actual bullion per their market cap which increases their expense ratio but they truly are behind the curve right now compared to SLV.

mind you, every time they sell an additional ounce they're likely selling at NAV, so they were at a premium before and now are at NAV, and once their sales dry up, they will shoot up to a premium again since they're the only trust were you can redeem physical.
 That makes sense to me at the moment and will keep a watchful eye.  I am aware that you can redeem for physical but I was told that you have to have a minimum of $200,000 in value before they will redeem.

All economic forces rests swuarly behind Silver, i dont see a better haven for a savy investor. Im all in.
