            • You know how "buying the dip works"? It works constantly, untll one day it doesn't and it just keeps on going down.
              4
              • that is exactly buying the dip, if it crashes...look back it crashed nearly 80%...and where is it now. so as long as you buy the dip, 10, 20, 30% etc. you will go down, but it will go up, as the lovers ate swapped by the winners in the index. it might take time, but in the end it will go up. and yes capitalism is free market and money talks, and I think you mistake it by democracy...this ended long time ago in the US, as with money you can buy anything...as long as you are a company...

              • sorry.. autocorrection..lovers=loosers, ate=are..lol
                0
              • I realized I got this confused. The NASDAQ would need to go down 33.3% to make this at 3 times to go to zero. So for example the NASDAQ at 1,500 would need to go down to 1,000.Sorry for getting confused.

              • Yes, TQQQ is great for long term, but better to short at 180, come back at 90 or lower and double your money.when rates are going up everyday and every piece of information in being shrugged off, valuation have no base to reality, you know yiu are In a bubble!

                    • If you think like Nick Smith, consider the following quote by him: Nasdaq 100 Futures Jan 19, 2021 9:15PM ET Why would you buy toxic Nasdaq at 11500? Crazy risky

                      • Earnings of tech companies in the last 3 years grew at a staggering annual rate of 38%. This is twice of even S&P 500. Of course their valuation is well justified, even a brargain!  ------- Oh wait !!! It looks like I am quoting an older article from early 2000. My mistake! This time iin 2019-2021 s different of course.

                        • This is so ironic!  Todan's CNBC home page. Two headliners side by side. "Nvidia greatest quarter" and "Cisco reports disappointing revenue and forecast". The present bubble and the past one. CSCO market cap is still half of what it was in 1999.

                        • Nick SmithLol see that's why etf beats a single company, check FAANG prices vs 2000, bears like you will always lose everything because you don't understand anything.

                      • Does Tqqq suitable for investment period (2-3months holding) while Nasdaq100 is down? Need guidance, thanks in advance!
                        2
                        • It's volatile for sure, you need to be patient when it drops.  The basic idea of all investing applies: when you cannot sleep at night, reduce your exposure until you can.  I've held it for the last 6 years, and I've had my share of not wanting to look at my account from time to time.  But, hold fast is my motto.  Oh, and I don't have everything in it.  No more than 20% at any one time, and that is very aggressive

                        • No, e.g. in March 2020 it lost 75% in just two weeks... too risky.

                        • For 2 or 3 months i say no too but for long term (above 5 years) i would say yes all the way!

                        • If NASDAQ goes back to the level of exactly 12 months ago (October 2020), then TQQQ goes to 0. Power of 3x math.
