    • Z - still doesnt know what business they are in... read they now want to test in 2 markets the notion of charging realtors 20-35% of their commissions, when they close a sale from their leads. and further alient the realtors who have paid subscriptions....... they tried to screen the leads, but thats labor intensive........they tried flipping and lost money, They tried being brokers, nope that didnt work. they were competing against their primary revenue source - realtors. while they may present this as "being flexible in our business model" or "innovative"...... i think they are pulling at straws, and they keep pulling the short one. Experimenting with charging realtors in a declining market, where fewer homes are being sold or purchased, is investing into a decline. while similtaneously alienating their primary revenue source. are they on drugs?

              • Here's a recent true scenario. I just sold a property and the competition was a zillow listing, i estimated about $53k loss Zillow was taking, times that by 7000 properties zillow still holds. Fasten your seatbelts!
