The United Basalt Products Limited, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells building materials primarily in Mauritius. The company operates through Building Materials and Agriculture segments. Its products primarily include aggregates, rocksand, and concrete blocks. The company also offers concrete products, such as screen block, drains, kerbs, hollow block, beams, wall retaining block, megablock, pipes, and precast concrete slabs; ready-to-use dry mortars; various concrete building components, such as paving-blocks and roof tiles, ready-mixed concrete, imported floor and wall tiles, and sanitary ware; decorating products, including floor and wall coverings; and home building products, fittings, tools, and garden accessories. In addition, it is involved in the cultivation of sugar cane, vegetables, and plants; sale of land; sale of agricultural products; and provision of landscaping, workshop, and contracting services, as well as leisure activities. The United Basalt Products Limited was incorporated in 1953 and is headquartered in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius.
