Thal Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is engaged in the manufacture of jute goods, engineering goods, paper sack, and laminate sheets. The jute operations are located at Muzaffargarh, Punjab; engineering operations at Karachi, Sindh; papersack operations at Hub, Balochistan and Gadoon, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; and laminate operations at Hub, Balochistan. The Company's segments include Engineering, Building Materials and Allied Products, and Real Estate Management & Others. Its Engineering segment is comprised of the thermal and engine components business and the electric systems business. These businesses are primarily focused on parts manufacturing for the auto industry. Its Jute business is a manufacturer and exporter of jute products in Pakistan. Its Papersack business is engaged in multi-ply manufacturing. Its Laminates business operates under the brand name Formite in three segments, such as High Pressure Laminates (HPL), Compact Laminates, and Laminated Boards.
