Like the IPhone, TSLA is encountering the same situation facing huge and uncertain competitions in the EV markets! Pointless to choose this for long term investments!
Apple obviously struggling with 15% market share and 69.7 billion dollars in profits, Tesla seems destined for a similar fate in a decade or so , right now the are dealing with 62% market share in US and about 19% globally.
Still not too late to get the huge discount for ling-term investors. Musk is a (mad?) genius who will be a big part of the future.

Long term investors here have done extremely well with a 5-7 year horizon in this company, the short term ups and downs are meaningless for their thesis.
Anyone who's been long until 2021 has done well and anyone who has been short since has done well. Tesla is not in the same competitive landscape as it was then. Things have changed.
