Cody Willard doesn't like stx because they are not poising themselves to adapt to big tech designing their ai hardware in house.
Is divy still coming ?
Not all the software companies will on high. Today it's Seagate day.
In three months you can buy again and again
seagate is a crappy company that sells hard drives that craps out after 3 months, I'd recommend taking your loses now
The fact you equate Seagate to old SATA HDDs, ******maybe IDE if you're old enough, shows your general ignorance
What is happening?
I have no clue, I was trying to find some news.. nothing ! The good thing it formed a bull flag the days before and it stayed in the flag, above $89,53 could give the start up to $94,45, after to previous high ?
Dmitry VI you always said that all the companies hv losses and they are always beating est, shut up bud
I think seagate will have losses because of Chia coin it destroys HDD very fast and they will be needed return money back to client because guarantee HDD. How do you think?
And how was nvidia deal with this crypro frrenzy?
idk somehow
no...hd stay idle most of time...the heavy work is done by fast ssd pciexpress disks
glide and station cells sputtering 6.66 allowances and goal targetting led iproductivity stance growth certainly from different contributions practically
Slightly going higher later growth economic planning for quickest tackle completings goods
Anybody know why it took a 5% dip after market ? The quarterly were not that bad weren't they?
I don't know why -7% either lol. Honestly nothing bad in the report or in the meeting, probably a mix of under expectation and panic selling/SL triggering
discount allowed and opening and closing perhaps to bullish sentiments and volume traded
Looks like a dip for buying at 48.96. But not sure if it will keep going down or come back up.
Thats how all stocks work. They go up or down.
u cant deny this is one of the best tech stock to buy now, demand for storage will be huge , may break 60 anytime
Whick all means its a short target
agree this is a good long
Sell
Buy
One of the best stcks to buy right now...
I don't understand why it went high, and then sold off, later in the after hours... ??? It doesn't match with the earnings results, if you ask me.  Explanations, anyone?
Thin trading/liquidity afterhours tomorrow should give some clarity.
wait for premarket price
someone dumped a load of stock
earning today
What happened? 47 to 43, do you have idea?
have any news yet
totally lost today premarket
amazing price, I buy
Seagate is recovering nicely from a big short this morning. I'll take the revenue and dividends on this stock.
Cloud data storage and data security driving earnings huge upside  Seagate is a leader.
If it gets past 67 should really breakout to upside. Clouds should lift. That's a pun cloud storage driving growth now and future.
Outstanding share count is dropping, institutional ownership is increasing . It's a good place to be technology Last Quarter $1.48 WOW  These guys have been around quite a while , If I could only have one stock this is it. They had a strong sell on it at $30. to keep every one out probably still do . It's worth $100 per share as the newer SSD drives and other technologies begin to produce revenue. This company is just well run and efficient . True they don't communicate with shareholders with breathtaking headlines like many others but the earnings will tell the tale .
STX could still drop a bit more before rising again.  It still has the highest P/E ratio of any similar stock and XRP will likely drop more after it bounced.  WDC is a better play than STX.  STX is more speculative of a stock.
Well if Seagate is linked to cryptocurrencies or specifically, Ripple, they have all been tanking a lot lately. and Ripple has lost more than half of its value since January.  Lots of the other crypto associated stocks have dropped since their hay day, but STX hasn't.  Does it have fundamentals to otherwise support its lofty value?  We'll see.
It rose quite fast and I started my short too soon, but I added more short and averaged it out closer to the top.
Ripple XRP is still dropping and broke below 1 today.  If Seagate (STX) is in ripple, it should drop and if it isn't in ripple STX should still drop at these levels.  Time to retest the 50 day sma.
It is hard to break a trend and correct down, but STX will drop further before testing its yearly highs. We tested the 54.25 resistance line and bounced off of it, lets see if we'll break through this time.
