I don’t understand how it is ethical for an institutional short seller to open a short position, then, afterwards, release their “work” to the public, available to everyone “free of charge” when respected firms consider their research “proprietary”. To me this looks like a coordinated set-up, but that is only my opinion.I hope these guys are wrong and institutions put the squeeze on their antics.

Nothing about short selling is ethical. To profit directly from others failure, people and their families suffering. is downright evil. But then again, should we be surprised in a world where terrible evils like abortion and the closely-related porn industry are legal? .... and then we wonder...smh

I believe you are correct because I original saw leap day (2/29) as the earnings day…then, I lost again and earnings release was “magically” 3/7. It could have been reported incorrectly and then corrected. Hard to say other than I expect the shares to touch $40 but hold at $38. Earnings are expected to beat the top and bottom line…but its also what is said about the next couple of quarters which makes or breaks the report.
